Pinger monitors your network or internet connection by "pinging" different hosts. A host can be a computer, printer, router/gateway, or anything with an IP address connected to a network that can respond to a ping. Pinger periodically pings each host to determine its connectivity state. After a ping, the RTT (Round-Trip Time) is shown, usually in milliseconds. This allows you to determine latency of your network connections, and overall network availability. If a ping fails, you can optionally select to run a trace route to determine where the network failed. A log of all passing RTT's and fails is kept and a historical graph is built, allowing you to track your network uptime and performance. Pinger also includes a windowed interactive ping and trace utility to replace the standard windows "ping". ![]() Add pinger to your system tray. When you need it, you'll always know when you're connected...and when you're not. Download it now! (4.3MB) ![]() Pinger is Freeware!
